Nestled on the headland next to Kata Noi beach, Mom Tri’s Villa Royale is a luxury getaway that is fit for royalty.
Mom Tri’s Villa Royal offers exceptional service and an unparalleled attention to detail that far out weights it’s five star status. From the orchid flowers left on the bed by their nightly turndown service, to the towels left in the fitness room, no detail is too small to be missed by their exceptional staff.
We recently spent ten nights in this magnificent hotel and spa overlooking the beautiful beach of Kata Noi. We checked into a Beach Wing Suite, this is their level entry room and yet we where treated like their highest paying customers.
The room had all the amenities you would expect from a five star hotel, however the room boasted a very large bath, walk in shower and separate sitting area with a corner suite for relaxing after a hard days sun bathing. Complimentary tea and coffee making facilities are available in the room along with bottled water. A reasonably priced minibar is also available for extra delights.
The complimentary toiletries are all presented in bottle pumps that are recycled. This shows their commitment to providing an Eco-friendly stay for their guests.
The in room entertainment consisted of a modern LED TV, this had a good selection of English and foreign channels.
The room was very quiet, and the sound of the crashing waves from the ocean could not be heard once the door was balcony door was closed.
The room had air conditioning and a ceiling fan that provided a welcome relief when it became to warm to sit outside.
During the day, room service visits your room and leaves a daily English newspaper and a treat of the day. This is normally a sweet local appetiser giving you a flavour of the local cuisine.
Attached to the hotel is Mom Tri’s Kitchen, a restaurant that offers both Thai and international cuisine. The restaurant boasts an award winning selection of wine along with an exceptional view across the bay of Kata Noi. Reservations for dinner are always recommended as this eatery is frequented not only by the hotel guests, but also by locals who come to enjoy the exquisite cuisine.
After dinner, there is the opportunity to sip cocktails, wine or beer in the bar whilst listening to the Jazz trio that plays at the venue twice a week.
Although we stayed here outside of high season, the weather turned out to be relatively good with only a few nights when it rained. There are a numbers of special offers that are offered during off peak, such as a special rate that includes room, two massages per person, two set meals per person and private airport transfers.
The Spa has a full list of treatments to pamper you including the traditional Thai massage that really gets rid of all the knot, lumps and bumps hat have built up during everyday life.
I can honestly say that this hotel is one of the best places that I have stayed and their customer service is second to non. If you are visiting Phuket I would highly recommend staying at this magnificent hotel.
